What AutoQuill is
AutoQuill is a free portable Windows auto typer that sends controlled character-by-character input into a user-selected target. It supports speed, hotkeys, profiles, humanized timing, inline commands, and dynamic tokens.
Use it only where automated input is authorized. It is not a bypass for platform rules.
Before downloading
- Confirm the target permits automated typing.
- Choose a short harmless first test.
- Open a blank local text file.
- Save important work elsewhere.

Do not begin in a browser form, terminal, chat, or production application where unintended input can submit or delete.
Download and launch
Use the current official AutoQuill download. Keep the portable application in an extracted writable folder; do not run it inside a ZIP. If Windows displays a reputation warning, verify the route and release information before execution.

Before starting, locate text source, speed and humanization, target feedback, start/pause/resume/stop, hotkeys, profiles, and command/token reference. Know how to stop before you know how to start.

Select and verify the target
Bring the intended application forward, place the caret, and use target feedback. Run a few plain characters. If input appears elsewhere, stop and reselect. Reselect after dialogs, window changes, or focus transitions.
Run the controlled test
- Enter one short fixed sentence.
- Set slow speed.
- Confirm stop hotkey.
- Focus the blank target.
- Start and watch every character.
- Stop early once to verify control.
- Restart and complete.
- Compare character for character.
Add commands gradually
AutoQuill can issue Enter, Tab, Space, Backspace, Delete, Home, End, arrows, Page keys, modifiers, Escape, function keys, numpad keys, and lock keys. These are real keys and can move focus or trigger actions.
Tab and Enter can submit forms; Delete and shortcuts can change data.
Use tokens and timing carefully
Date, time, and clipboard tokens depend on system state. Inspect clipboard data and format before use. Establish a correct fixed-speed profile before adding humanized timing, then add small variation and retest.
Save and label the profile
Record purpose, target, text source, speed, timing, hotkeys, commands, tokens, last verified date, and limitations. Keep risky profiles separate.

- Stop the session.
- Confirm no queued typing remains.
- Review target output.
- Save only a correct profile.
- Clear sensitive clipboard data.
- Close AutoQuill before entering high-impact applications.
Security and authorization checklist
Before using a profile outside the test editor, confirm the account owner, target application, permitted automation, input source, and stop procedure. Remove credentials and personal data from test text. Keep AutoQuill closed when entering passwords or administering sensitive systems so a mistaken hotkey cannot start input.
Promote a profile from test to use
Save a baseline copy, test the exact target with harmless data, confirm commands and tokens, measure actual duration, and record a last-verified date. Revalidate after AutoQuill updates, target-application updates, keyboard-layout changes, or moving the profile to another Windows device.
