Service Terms
Terms for scoped expert services, quotes, payment, revisions, customer responsibilities, delivery, and project closure.
Not effective for production commerce yet
This policy is published for operational review. Jivaro will activate and version it only after legal, tax, market, and launch approval.
Scope and formation
A service request is an invitation for Jivaro to review the project. No engagement begins until Jivaro sends a written quote, the customer accepts it before expiry, and any required payment is received.
The accepted quote, these Service Terms, and any service-specific written terms form the project agreement.
Customer responsibilities
The customer must provide accurate requirements, lawful source materials, required permissions, and timely feedback. The customer remains responsible for final business, legal, medical, regulatory, publishing, platform, and institutional decisions.
Delays caused by missing information, changed requirements, inaccessible systems, or late approvals may change the delivery date and price.
Specialists and subcontractors
Jivaro may assign employees, contractors, translators, reviewers, certifiers, or subject specialists appropriate to the approved scope. Private contact information is not disclosed unless required for the engagement or certification format.
Payment and milestones
Small projects may require full payment before work begins. Larger projects may use deposits, milestones, and final payment. The quote states the applicable schedule. Final source files or deliverables may be withheld until required payment is complete.
Revisions and changed scope
One defined revision round is included unless the quote states otherwise. New source material, new deliverables, changed requirements, or work outside the accepted scope may require a revised quote.
Cancellation and project closure
Cancellation and refund treatment depends on work already completed, non-recoverable costs, reserved specialist time, and the accepted quote. Jivaro may suspend a project for nonpayment, unlawful requests, abusive conduct, or material breach.
Questions
Contact Jivaro before purchasing or accepting a quote when a policy term is unclear or a receiving institution has a specific requirement.
